Description
Mississippi John Hurt
Last Sessions
VANGUARD VSD 79327
Condition is used. Sleeve is good, cover has some white marks, there are a few stains in the corners on the rear. Spine is in good condition. Original Vanguard inner sleeve. The record itself has not been been played for 20 years, there are some visible scratches and scuffs.
These seventeen recordings originate from the summer of 1966, a few scant months before Mississippi John Hurt's death in November of that year, although they were not released by Vanguard Records until 1972. The likely cause was that the company already had his “Today!” album released, and what was to become “The Immortal Mississippi John Hurt” album ready to go.
Please be assured it will be packaged sensibly in stiff cardboard to protect it during transit. FREE TRACKED COURIER DELIVERY
