Miss You Much: Brazilian Promo Version
This auction is for a 12" pressing of Janet Jackson's song, "Miss You Much". This item was pressed 20 years ago, in 1989. The record is housed in a thin outer case, which includes all album/artist info. This record was pressed in Brazil, and released by A&M under PolyGram Brazil in limited numbers for promotional use. Item is rather unusual, as Janet never reached the popularity in the fickle Brazilian market as she has in the rest of the world. Because her record companies have always been aware of this, it is extremely infrequent that they bother to promote her there. However, what makes this item a gem for the collector is the second track- “Radio Remix Edit” of the title song. I collected for many years and had never come across this version on any CD single, 7” or 12” record. This version does not even appear on the Japanese extended remix CD pressing of Miss You Much. The case has some storage wear (see photos) and standard usage wear.
