Description
This four song, 35-year old gem captures one of the first wave NYHC thrash bands doing what they did best. They were of the generation of bands that included Jesse Malin's Heart Attack, The Nihilistics, The Mob, The False Prophets, Undead, Even Worse, Kraut, The Fiends, and so on. Before the shirts came off, and the ink and muscles came on, and NYHC started to display a very decidedly metallic influence.
Very soon after this E.P. The Misguided began to morph into a more decidedly Mod Revivalist (as in The Jam) type band, before calling it a day. Soon thereafter they grew out their hair, started wearing tuxedo shirts, and began playing much longer, slower, feedback drenched tunes as mid-80s SST recording artists Das Damen.
This 7" comes with its original insert, and the record itself could probably be described as Near Mint, as it plays with nary a pop. But to be safe, I'm conservatively grading it Very Good Plus. The sleeve could probably be graded as Very Good Plus, but some creasing from decades of shelf wear have me grading it Very Good.
