Description
Original 1982 Slash Records licensed Italian press on Expanded Music label. Notable differences from the domestic first pressing include sky color being less pink and slightly darker, band photo on back of sleeve uses black ink only and not duotone like the US pressings, spine text reading “The Misfit” rather than “Misfits”, Expanded Music catalog number on spine, lyric sheet and center labels. Center labels are the “text” version on this pressing, which also displays the red stamp present on all authentic pressings of this run.
Sleeve is Excellent, with minimal handling wear.
Vinyl is Excellent, verging on Near Mint, but I’m conservatively grading it.
Inner lyric / collage sleeve is VG+ to EX with small chip at center of opening at top and approximately 1” (2.5 cm) split at the bottom edge but only evident upon opening the inner sleeve and holding the bottom edge to a light source.
This record has been in my personal collection for many years and has always been stored with the vinyl in a separate poly-lined anti-static dust sleeve outside of the lyric sleeve and outer sleeve to ensure the preservation of the integrity of all components.
