Description
Misfits "Die Die My Darling" 1984 Plan 9 release on purple vinyl!
This first pressing (LIMITED TO 500 COPIES) features its original and increasingly hard-to-find cover with Misfits logo and back cover photos/titles in a light pink-peach tint.
The cover itself is in EX condition with only a few very minor creases and a very light seam split on the main spine which is still intact (hasn't torn through). It really sounds worse than it actually is (see photos). Regardless, it's in killer condition for being 22 years old!
The vinyl is easily NM and I have personally never played it. This is also one of the earlier copies that didn't fully have its color pellets mixed yet (blue+red=purple) during the actual pressing phase of the record, so there are some reds/blues/violets featured in the vinyl as well. Also, there is a small tear on the B-side label at the spindle hole that is apparently very common with first press Die Dies, all of which likely came this way from the pressing plant.
