Misfits Die Die My Darling in purple vinyl 1/500 pressed.

As you can see from the pics the sleeve is not mint and has seen better days. The vinyl aside from having a pressing defect which made it look slightly warped has been played through with no issues. I had had this checked out by Vinyl LP Care overseas and here’s what he had assessed

“That is a pressing defect but I don't know what causes it. It is peculiar to U.S. vinyl records and for me, Capitol Records produced these types of records in the 70s and 80s. I have a 1980s reissue of Bonnie Raitt’s ‘Streetlights’ LP on the Warner Bros. label. I had a look at this again recently and I cannot see any way of fixing it. In nearly 50 years of vinyl collecting and being an audiophile, I have never seen a European pressing with this defect. It is extraordinary. I think Quality Control at some U.S. pressing plants, back in the day, was not at the top of their priority lists? Surprisingly too, this defect has never been highlighted or discussed in the specialist Audio magazines (Stereophile in the U.S.A.?) or the U.K. Hi-Fi press, over the years. It must be extremely rare.

What is also a possibility and a fear is that if your record needed to be flattened, the flattening process might distort the shape of the record, pushing it outwards and actually destroying the record in the process, because of this very defect. However, from what I can see, your record does not appear to be warped? It just seems to be a little ‘unstable’ due to this ‘zig zag’ movement, in an out, very quickly? “

So if you want a decent copy with it being a strange oddity then place your bid. As always if you have any questions just ask and I will ship worldwide.
