Description

Mischa Elman with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Georg Solti.

Beethoven Concerto in D major for Violin and Orchestra Opus 61.  Decca (Gold) LXT 5068.

Vinyl - Contains some background crackle and light ticks etc. particularly on the opening passage of side one. Side two has a small nick that causes half a dozen louder ticks. There is also a pressing bubble on the intro but luckily this is mostly on the run in and disappears at the start. The playing surface is actually quite good in appearance and I would have liked to have graded this LP higher. But in view of the above I would have to grade the Vinyl as VG.
Sleeve  - corners are worn and edges are also showing signs of wear Graded as EX-.

Grading Guide.

N/M - (Vinyl) A problem free example that may show some signs of being played, and may contain the odd very minor blemish without audible defect.
           (Sleeve) Almost as new with the very faintest sign of wear.
EX. -  (Vinyl) An example that contains some surface marks and scuffs, may have the odd light nick or contain a few light ticks or background crackle.
          (Sleeve) Shows signs of corner / edge wear or minor creases.
VG -  (Vinyl) An example that contains some surface marks and scuffs and the odd nick or scratch that demonstrates several audible ticks through a passage of play.
          (Sleeve) Shows signs of corner / edge wear, could contain larger creases or tears.
