Description

This was the band that started Dischord Records This was the band that started Dischord Records Out of print, rare. Minor Threat First 7" EP Dischord #2 first press 1981, red cover. Their first recording. Ian MacKaye, Lyle Preslar, Brian Baker, and Jeff Nelson. The yellow label says "Putting DC on The Map" and they weren't kidding! Songs: Filler, I Don't Wanna Hear It, Seeing Red, Straight Edge, Small Man, Big Mouth, Screaming At A Wall, Bottled Violence, Minor Threat. Would American hardcore be the same without this record? I don't think so! Recorded at Inner Ear Studio. Includes insert with lyrics and photo.

I worked at the famous Yesterday and Today Records in Rockville MD in the early eighties. Y&T was the epicenter of the birth of DC HarDCore, and owner Skip Groff mixed this one. I bought every release as soon as they came out and stored them in plastic sleeves, so they're in great shape! I'll be selling more Dischord original releases soon.
