Description

This is the first pressing of Minor Threat's 1st single, one of 1000 made. Ian MacKaye wrote and signed a message to Seattle Punk Rocker "Jeff G" on the back of the 2cnd lyric sheet insert. Jeff used to publish a fanzine called "Inaudible Noise" back in the early 80s and Ian sent him their single in the mail. I bought this single from Jeff in 1984 ish and did not see Ian's note until recently. This is Dischord Records 3rd release.

The record sleeve is in great shape with a tiny amount of price tag sticker glue on the right upper corner area barely visible and a small amount of record wear on cover barely visible. I played the record once recently and the sound is superb - no skips and minimal surface noise, there are few minor surface scratches. The record labels are perfect, the two xerox lyric sheet inserts are in great shape - check the photos.



Note: All records are packed sturdy with
7-inch cardboard inserts on each side of the record for added strength.
Records without inner sleeves are provided with new ones so the vinyl can be laid on top
of the outer sleeve to avoid seam splits during transit.
