Description
This is a rare, mint-condition copy of the 1st pressing of Minor Threat's 12" EP, which was comprised of their 2 7" EPs. There were 3 different versions, all pressed in France, and all released simultaneously in 1984: This is the German version, with Warm Gray, Black and Yellow inks, and it admonishes people to "Zahl Nicht Mehr Als DM12" (Pay No More Than 12 Deutschmarks.) It's crazy to remember that when this LP came out, Germany was still divided, and the Berlin Wall would not come down for another 6 years. The American version was printed with Red, Black, and Silver (later Gray) inks, and says "$4.00 Postpaid from Dischord". British version was printed with Dark Blue, Black, and Light Blue inks, and says "Pay No More Than £2.50." The British and German versions were much more limited, and were only in these color combinations. The American version, by contrast, has been in print since 1984, and there have been various color combinations tried out over the years. Included is lyric sheet with photos of band, printed on glossy paper stock....CONDITION: Record has never, ever been played, absolutely mint condition....PROVENANCE: This record comes from the punk archives of Jeff Nelson ( Minor Threat / Dischord Records ), which are being downsized after having recently been described as "too big" and "insane.".....Ohio residents add 7% sales tax (before shipping costs)....SHIPPING: Within the USA, Media Mail/Delivery Confirmation will be $3.00, or Priority Mail/Delivery Confirmation for $8.00.
