Description
Mingus Ah Um Columbia 8171 This record is in excellent condition except for a small, narrow, light scrape across part of the first track on the first side of the record that is heard during the first 9 to10 revolutions of play. After that the intensity of the music overwhelms the sound coming from the mark, but if you listen 'very closely' it is still 'lightly audible' during some other portions of that track, though the sound lessens greatly over time to the point of being no longer audible at all. The remainder of side one is VG++ to Excellent and side two plays excellent to near mint. Except for the minor issue on track one of the first side the record provides a superb listening experience. The cover is in VG++ condition and still has the shrink wrap on it.
