Presige 7129 by Miles Davis: Relaxin With The Miles Davis Quintet. Original deep groove, 446 West 50th St., NYC  label. RVG stamped in deadwax. Coltrane, Garland, Chamber, Philly Joe. Very clean cover, no splits or tears, very light wear front and back. Minor corner tip rubbing.  Overall the vinyl is glossy with shallow hairliines and a few scratches. Side one has prominent 3/4 inch scratch across the last half of track 1, which is not any louder than the background static. Also on side one are 6 small wax smudges which don't seem to sound.  Side two is a bit cleaner. Both sides play with intermittent background static, which in no way overpowers the music. One can hear the static, but it is not objectionable even on the ballads. This is a used record, and not for the audiophile who is distressed by the sound of a tiny tick. Grade cover VG++. Grade vinyl VG.
