Description

This is an auction of an ORIGINAL JAZZ LP CLASSIC - Miles Davis Quintet - Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet. PRESTIGE PRLP-7166 MONO YELLOW DEEP GROOVE BERGENFIELD NJ LABELS. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder RVG with 'RVG' stamped in the deadwax trailoff of both sides. With Miles and John Coltrane Red Garland Paul Chambers Philly Jo Jones. Professionally cleaned on a VPI machine.

Record is visually graded as VG++ side with just a few light hairlines and VG+ side 2 with more hairlines - PLAY GRADES Mint- to VG++ and is very quiet, cover presents well but is VG+ with light ring wear and foxing on back top, a 1" split at the lower right corner edge and some fraying on the lower spine. BIDDER NOTE - On side 1 at the beginning of the last track is a single, slight bump which is a manufacture flaw - it is heard a low spectrum sound for 3 revolutions only and does not disturb the tracking.
