This is the ultimate audiophile pressing on HQ 180+ premium vinyl done by the masters of Riverside & Prestige re-issues, Analogue Productions. Hand-numbered limited edition #447 out of 2500. Out of print and now extremely rare as they have become highly sought-after. Mint condition.

Includes: The New Miles Davis Quintet, Cookin', Relaxin', Workin', Steamin'. With John Coltrane on tenor and the monster rhythm section of Red Garland (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), and the great Philly Joe Jones (drums), this quintet cut one disc (Miles) in November of 1955, and four more (Cookin', Relaxin', Workin', and Steamin') between May and October of 1956. The LP's have a continuity from one to the other as a result. Very essential Miles at one of his many pinnicles. These albums are among the pantheon of Jazz LP art -- and they have never sounded better. These are superior pressings.
