Description
Original 1961 U.K. silver and black, textured label Fontana MONO pressing of Miles Davis’s ‘Saturday Night Miles Davis In Person at the Blackhawk, San Francisco’ L.P. (FONTANA TFL 5164). Sadly, these pressing are not dated but the textured silver and black labels and flipbacks indicate that this is an early pressing. This has a nice relatively thick, period card sleeve, which is in immaculate condition, and vinyl is in similarly immaculate condition (I would guess this has been played a couple of times at most). This copy is graded as being in NEAR MINT condition (more condition details below).

L.P. Cover
The cover is graded as being in NEAR MINT condition. The only flaws I can identify are a tiny amount of laminate blubbling (which hasn’t lifted) and a fingerprint on the rear sleeve. The top-right and bottom right-hand corners have sustained the lightest of knocks. It really is a beautiful copy with laminate that is so fresh it could have been manufactured yesterday.
Vinyl
The immaculate labels with no evidence of spindle wear indicate that this copy has never sustained heavy rotation. There is a tiny amount of encrusted mould. This copy is graded NEAR MINT. This has been graded under an intense light.
Concluding Remarks
So many of the modern jazz lps I have for sale this week sound too good to be true but they really have come from a collection which has been well looked after. Please check my other auctions for further Davis and vintage modern jazz LPs!

You don’t need to email me. So long as you can pay me efficiently (i.e. Paypal) and I can get the item to you then that is good enough for me!
