Description

Prestige 7129, “Relaxin’ with the Miles Davis Quintet”.  Miles Davis, trumpet; John Coltrane, tanor sax; Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Philly Joe Jones, drums; from 1956. This is the later Bergenfield, NJ pressing.  The vinyl plays at VG+ with some background static, most of which cannot be heard at a distance; the heavy vinyl is fairly glossy with few marks. The heavy laminated jacket has solid seams all around and slight corner wear; there is also slight age toning at the edges; the jacket back is clean with no writing or stamps.  Numbers include “If I Were a Bell”, “You’re My Everything”, “I Could Write a Book”, “Oleo”, “It Could Happen to You”, and “Woody’n You”.  Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $18.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.   Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 additional within U.S. and Canada, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $12.00 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
