This is a Classic Records 2 LP 180 gram reissue of Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue (Columbia CS 8163) with Cannonball Adderley, Paul Chambers, James Cobb, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, and Wynton Kelly.
Disc 1 is the original release with side 1 at the original incorrect speed. Disc 2 has side 1 at the correct speed, plus a 45 RPM alternate version of Flamenco Sketches.
The jacket has always been protected with a poly bag and looks nearly new. Mild corner dent/creases and a crease at upper left.
The disc looks nearly new because it has only been played 2-3 times on a VPI Aries with a Grado Statement Master and a Well Tempered Classic with an Ortofon Rondo Bronze moving coil cartridge. Before each play, the disc was cleaned and vacuumed with a VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine (see photos).
Mastered by the renowned Bernie Grundman.
This is a 180 gram pressing, not the 200 gram that audiophiles complain about.
