Description
My husband worked in the music business in the '70s and '80s and amassed an amazing collection of records, mostly promo copies. These have special cut-outs, stamps or labels identifying them as provided for free by the record company so they didn't end up for sale in record stores. Often they came without shrinkwrap. I am selling predominantly NEW and UNPLAYED albums, never removed from their sleeves until the photos were taken for eBay.
In many cases we had multiple copies and over the years we sold most of the collection, retaining only the creme de la creme. Here they are, starting with the classic Miles Davis double album Bitches Brew from 1970. This copy is stickered for radio distribution, as well as a sticker that identifies it as a 2-record set at a "special price." Until I took these pictures, the discs had never been removed from the sleeve. There are no cut-outs of this one.
