Description

Miles Davis 1959 monaural original “Six Eye” Columbia LP “Kind Of Blue” (Columbia CL 1355) with deep groove labels. The dead wax matrix numbers are XLP 47324-1J & XLP 47325-1J.

Also on the LP are John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, Wynton Kelly, Cannonball Adderley and Jimmy Cobb.

The tracklist is: So What/Freddie Freeloader/Blue In Green/Flamenco Sketches/All Blues.

The glossy LP is visually near mint with just a few sleeve scuffs and superficial marks. I’m unable to see even one spindle mark on the labels. I play graded the LP and it plays crisp and clear. There is some surface noise I found surprising considering the visually excellent condition of the vinyl and labels. It is not overwhelming but it should be mentioned so that the winning bidder is not expecting pure audiophile playback. The cover has no splits, tears, writing or cutouts with some light storage wear and aging that do not detract a great deal from the graphics and liner notes.
