Description
Issued in 1981 on Mikey Dreads Dread At The Controls UK label, catalogue number DCD 003. The same two tunes were also issued with the catalogue number DCD 004. This got to number one on The Echoes chart for four weeks on 25/2 & 4, 11, 18/3/81. A monster tune! The only differences that are spottable are that DCD 003 is distributed by Dub Vendor and DCD 004 is distributed by Rough Trade, and possible they are slightly different mixes, I don't have both copies to compare. The mixes on this version are both subtitled Rebel Mix Lyrics ( 1981 Fashion ). There was also a blue vinyl pressing of these mixes,this is black vinyl. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ with no scuffs or marks, both labels are clean and mark free, just a couple of feint spindle marks. Both tracks are extended versions with the songs running into great dubs.......The record is a very loud and bassy pressing, both sides play with no problems.
