This is a live performance of Mike Westbrooks 1975 studio album 'Citadel/Room 315'.
Mike Westbrook was commissioned by Swedish Radio to write the work with John Surman as lead soloist backed by the 16-piece Swedish Radio Jazz Group.
He then travelled to Sweden to perform and conduct it for a 1974 one time only live in concert. This recording has never been released until now and presents a wildly different recording to the later studio 1975 LP.
