Description
Mike Vernon – “Bring It Back Home” – 1971 UK Blue Horizon Original Vinyl LP - Cat No 2931–003 I am offering here for sale a very rare vinyl LP by Mike Vernon of Blue Horizon Records fame titled “Bring It Back Home” UK Cat No 2931–003 To say this LP is very rare is of course an understatement, and perhaps one of the rarest LP’s from this defining UK Blues label ever to be released! (Blue Horizon collectors would know what I’m saying here) It is an indispensable addition to any rare record collection and a ‘must’ for Blue Horizon aficionados. It is on par with the rarest UK vinyl LP’s including, Vertigo Swirl, Atlantic Plum, Decca, Deram and of course the ‘eye’ and black-block labels from the Pink Island stable. I have played the album recently on an upmarket deck. It is in EX+ condition and each song is pristine and clear with no crackling, popping or hiss!! The vinyl record is even free of surface marks! No breakfast frying on this one! To hold an LP 36 years old and as rare as this in such awesome condition is for many once in a lifetime chance and indeed a privilege. Both labels are bright and clear (as new, see photo’s) with no unwanted writing or grubby fingerprints as is sometimes the case with LP’s from this era. The sleeve I would determine as EX- condition rather than EX because of a small price tag being carelessly removed off the textured cover which is very fragile. Unfortunately the LP does not have the lyric inner, but this should not detract bidders the opportunity of purchasing a genuine and perfectly sounding UK Blue Horizon rarity. Exquisite! The LP includes master craftsmen such as Paul Kossoff of UK Blues/Rock outfit FREE and Rory Gallagher. You will note from the pictures of the item that I am not a photographer, sorry, and I have included only one label image. If you do have any concerns about the B side label I assure you this too is unmarked and will provide an image if you wish. I just don’t see the need to overload you with images as I feel certain whoever the new owner of this LP is, will be thrilled. I’ll do my best to answer any questions about the LP you may have. You will not be disappointed... Good Luck
