Description

Mike Harrison lead singer of Spooky Tooth and Art (Supernatural Fairytales) second solo album Smokestack Lightning 1st pressing on Island Records.
Mike recorded this second solo outing at the world famous Muscle Shoals Recording Studios in Alabama and playing on this incredible record are Peter Carr, Jimmy Johnson, Barry Becket, David Hood and Roger Hawkins….All very familiar and now legendary Muscle Shoals session musicians….Also guesting on Mike's album is Luther Grosvenor from Spooky Tooth.
Mike use to perform Smokestack Lightning in his Vip's days and it was a show stopper for them and this version that Mike and the Muscle Shoals boys perform on this album is nothing short of mesmerizing.
Fantastic record!
The record grades at least a Near Mint- as it's still sealed.
This record cover grades EX+…Only because of the hole punch and has a small crimp on the bottom left (see scan).
I've been collecting records for over 55 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
