This is an Auction for The Middle Class - Out of Vogue Ep on Joke Records 09831. This is a piece of American Hardcore history, There has always been an on going debate on who was first. Was the Bad Brains Pay to Cum or was it this single. I for one think it was this record when you consider you can trace the roots of Black Flag, TSOL, Social Distortion, Adolescents, Redd Cross and a majority of the LA Suburban Hardcore that spread out to the rest of country back to this band and this EP including DC and Boston.
Conditiion: I'm not a big fan of the grading system because too often it is based on opinion and one man's VG+ is anothers man's G. I also tend to grade things low but have found through past experience that regardless of how conservative I am, there is always someone out there that thinks it isn't conservative enough. The fact is that in the 20+ years that I have collected records and often bought new, no record is Mint and without a doubt nothing is Mint++.
- Sleeve - MN The Artwork looks great. Now if you would like to nit pick there is indent from the record and slight wear but no ink loss at all.
- Record: NM This could be mint, I can't see a thing wrong with it.
About Me: I'm not a dealer and this is part of my own personal collection. I've collecting records since the mid 80s mostly Southern California punk before 1985. Also I promoted shows during the 1990s and 2000s. At this point, most of these records haven't been played in over 10 years and I could uses the money. About 2 years ago, I sold off my CD collection and just recently decided that I need to stop hoarding these. Plus I would love to see these in the hands of another collector to enjoy instead of packed away. I plan on slowly selling off the collection over the next few months.
