Description

This is an original sealed copy of the first solo LP by Mickey Hart, the original drummer of the Grateful Dead. Since there is inserted in the back of the cover a record company promotional sheet that is issued by Warner Bros and Reprise Records only with white label promos, it is believed this this is a white label promo. The LP includes performances by a number of well know psych musicians from Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service and The Jefferson Airplane, among others, and all listed on hype sticker affixed top the top left front corner of LP cover

Although Hart had temporarily left the Grateful Dead at the time he made Rolling Thunder, members of the Dead play on the album, along with a number of other well-known musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area music scene. Also featured are classical tabla players Zakir Hussain and his father Alla Rakha. The album contains early versions of two songs co-written by Bob Weir that later became Grateful Dead concert staples — "Playing in the Band", and "Greatest Story Ever Told" (called "Pump Song" on this album).

The LP is completely sealed and on all corners are excellent. The front and back of  cover are exceptionally clean with no holes or cuts and the seams and spine are strong with no evident splits.

The LP is being sold with no reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of close of auction.

Shipment of the LP by media mail costing $4 per album including tracking is only made to paypal confirmed addresses in the United States. If buyer bids upon and wins more than one item the buyer needs to wait for invoice to be issued showing the combined lower shipping cost. Return of the LP is only permitted if returned sealed.
