Description

USA 1972 Warner Bros LP BS 2635 'Rolling Thunder' by Mickey Hart of Grateful Dead fame with the artistic help of Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Grace Slick and Stephen Stills to name some but not all.
This is a proof issue of the LP; there is no official sleeve, just what I take to be the intended future rear printing pasted onto a blank sleeve for starters. Note that on one of the picture inner sleeves is hand written 'Cover is at Daily Cal being photo(e)d'. 
Further, there are two vinyls but with different matrix numbers.
The LP with the darker green label has matrices BS.2635 40222-1 and BS.2635 40223-1 scratched into the dead wax of sides 1 and 2 respectively.
The lighter green label LP has BS.2635A 40222-1A and BS.2635B 40223-1B scratched likewise.
I guess these are different mixes to choose before final production?  I haven't had time to play them to add further info.
So, the carded sleeve of typical US rigidity has sellotape (scotch tape) along a couple of seams in view of seam splitting and is grubby with signs of ringwear. The insert shows creasing and age foxing.
The dark green label LP weighs 103g and the other 107g. Both discs are flat and shiny and show little evidence of play. In room daylight they look very nice. Under a bright light there are 'removal' and storage scuffs and hairlines so I rate both vinyls 8 /10 for condition at worse.   Both picture inner sleeves have a few seam splits which I'll leave for the buyer to repair
Should the buyer disagree with my descriptions as above then no problem to return of course.
