Description
This is a classic LP which we have owned since buying in 1972. The single "Ben" was nominated for an Academy Award and was performed by Michael at the 1973 Academy Awards show. Although not his first album (Got To Be There), it was his first to score high on the charts with the album reaching #5, while the single reached #1. With Michael's untimely passing, this album has great monetary, as well as sentimental value. We are selling off all of our albums, and this one is one the rarest that we have. Sure wish we still had an LP Player.
The album itself is in great shape because it was not the type of album that we played very often--(no offense Michael, but we preferred the Beatles and Fleetwood Mac). However, as Michael's career and appearence changed so drastically over the years (see photos), this album is the perfect way to re-live his musical contributions by going back to square one.
