You are bidding on a: Mega Rare 100% Authentic Michael Jackson Original 1st Edition Bad Album Cover Artwork Proof (Mega Rare Original 1987 Uncut Artwork Proof measures 25inches x 19inches includes all colour correcting bar codes for the album cover Proofs) (This was the Original album cover for Michael Jackson's 'Bad' album which was ultimately rejected by Epic / Sony Music executives and later replaced by the photo taken from the "Bad" video set). These samples were printed on 1st December 1986 by the Sony Music Art Department for Michael to approve in early 1987. 


I bought this off 'Larry Stessel' a Marketing Executive at Epic Records who worked there back in the late 80's when this Album Cover was created. He also sent me a letter stating that Only 10 were ever printed, you will receive a photocopy of this letter with the Artwork Proof. 


One was sent to Michael Jackson, which was part of his personal belongings collection which were going to be auctioned in April 2009 by Julien's Auctions. I personally went to California to view all Michael's personal belongings which could be viewed between 14th to 25th April 2009. I took a photo of Michael's personal copy of this Artwork Album Cover Proof (please see picture 12). The auction was in the end cancelled. 


The Artwork Proof is still in Excellent Condition for being over 30 years old and has never been folded (will be shipped / posted rolled up in a super solid 6 inch wide poster tube). 


Almost impossible to find one of these. A great opportunity to own something very special and have in your Michael Jackson collection, this would look amazing framed. Don't miss this chance to get this amazing piece of history from the greatest artist of all time.
