Description

Very rare 1968 British Jazz LP featuring Michael Garrick, Ian Carr, Joe Harriot, Don Rendell, Tony Coe, Dave Green, Trevor Tomkins and Colin Barnes.

The record is on Argo (DA 88) and it's in mono.  The vinyl has a deep lustre and the yellow label has no spindle marks.  If it wasn't for one extremely light surface scuff (probably caused by taking it out of the inner sleeve) I'd grade it Near Mint.   It came from a large collection of jazz records that were all in superb condition.

The sleeve does show some signs of being 39 years old.  There's some light feathering to the corners and minor creasing.  There's also a small round paper sticker in the top lefthand corner that might be removable with care.  There are also some small brown spots on the unlaminated sleeveback but you'd have had to store it in an oxygen free environment to avoid some aging to a white sleeve of this age.

Overall though you'd have a hard job (and probably a long wait) to find a better copy of this great album.
