Description

After the critical acclaim Michael Chapman received for Rainmaker in 1969, he followed up quickly in early 1970 with Fully Qualified Survivor, a record more adventurous and haunting than its predecessor, with added production flourishes and equally strong songs. Fully Qualified Survivor is the album that established Chapman as a folk troubadour. Leaving the guitar pyrotechnics largely locked in a shed, Chapman concentrated instead on his songwriting skills, and the sacrifice -- for this record anyway -- paid off. Leaving the lead guitar credits to a fellow Hull-man, Mick Ronson (who got his gig with David Bowie as a result of his playing on this album) All Music Guide
Cube Records 1970 Disc and sleeve look new.

CONDITION OF DISCS I am not a dealer, not motivated by profit. I am a music fan, just like you. I chiefly want this great stuff to go to good homes, irrespective of price. That is why I cut postage to the bone. I cannot comment on the playing qualities of every disc. I last played many of them decades ago. I expected my discs to be enjoyably playable when I picked one to put on the turntable. Now I select them to post. I try to give an accurate account of what I see. This the basis on which all used records are sold by anybody. I am as experienced as anyone in England at judging a record visually. At the starting price of £0.99, and up, I would buy any of these again.
