Gibson ES 165 Herb Ellis Signature de 1991 (1ere année de production)   POur les amateurs de belles et bonnes guitares, je mets en vente (comme toujours pour financer d'autres achats) une très belle pièce de ma collection (sur quel critère? Généralement j'essaye d'éliminer les guitares qui font double emploi; je ne vends que des guitares que j'achèterais les yeux fermés. Elle est en superbe état et on voit qu'elle a été chouchoutée et préservée. Quelques petites griffes, des traces sur le pickguard, pas de marques de ceinture! Lègère oxydation de l'accastillage doré, cette pin-up à 17 ans.....mais elle a permission de minuit (mot de passe : blue note). Le case a été utilisé, présente plusieurs coups mais reste parfaitement fonctionnel   La forme d'une Es 175, le même type de manche, mais un seul micro, jazzy à souhait. Le modèle utilisé par Herb Ellis pendant ses années avec le Oscar Peterson Trio. Elle fut pendant 10 ans le modèle jazz le plus populaire de Gibson. Je suis à votre disposition pour toute question. Avec plaisir   La guitare est en vente sur d'autres supports... Ne tardez pas trop pour enchérir. Sure, every headbanger can pound out power chords and riff off your basic pentatonic scale (but pretty fast, we might add). On the other hand, precious few guitar players ever have the drive and determination to truly master the music style that's called jazz. Of course, that label covers a lot of sonic territory, but so has Herb Ellis's career. He first came into the limelight when he replaced Barney Kessel in the Oscar Peterson Trio, where he stayed from 1953 until 1958 (longer than The Beatles were together). For most of that time, he played a Gibson ES-165. Now the company has released a Herb Ellis Signature ES-165, and darned if it isn't a little bit of that 1950s magic at work. With its maple top, curly maple back and sides and its authentic BJB Floating pickup, it's easy to see why jazz musicians find this type of guitar irresistible. True, it has only that one pickup and one volume control. The Vintage Sunburst is nice, but it's all in the fingers, folks. All in the fingers!
