Description

Up for bid is a mega rare LP which came out of Germany in 1986. The recordings to this LP were made at the Metal Hammer Festival St. Goarshausen/Lorely Germany on September 14, 1985, where Metallica not only did a fantastic gig, but also presented Disposable Heroes for the first time live, a long time before the release of the Master Of Puppets album. The complete show can be found on this album, which came out around the time Master Of Puppets was released. This performance of Disposible Heroes has the distinction of being the only time Cliff Burton played on it live that is on a record. This hard to find LP is an essential for the old school hard core Metallica fan. It is not meant for the novice fan but for the people who know the true value and collectibility of this piece.
