Description
This one is an EP - Metallica Master of Puppets (Part I) radio promo from Elektra Records. In very good + (VG+) condition overall, some cover wear, original paper sleeve is included. Vinyl VG+ as well. There is a notch in the upper left, but the paper sleeve and vinyl are unaffected. This one is so rare that I have no idea on a starting price, but similar promos for Metallica songs have gone for well over $100, and weren't for nearly as iconic of songs. Both sides are tagged 'A' side with the same song, a 3:32 radio edit of MoP Part I. Sticker text says:
Metallica "Master of Puppets" Part I. From the gold album (and soon to be platinum) "Master of Puppets". Get the idea? ED 5139.
Yup. This one is an amazing find - the one that sent Metallica over the top with radio play and created the monster.
I'm selling off the record collection that I accumulated during the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. I haven't had a record player for over 15 years, and I have no intention of getting one. Rather than moving these records around from place to place and storing them away, I'd rather give someone a chance to enjoy them. Since I can't test these before listing, assume that they need a good cleaning but have few (if any) defects. I've always taken care of my music, vinyl tape or CD. However, since I cannot check these before listing, they are listed as-is and no returns. The starting prices are reasonable to reflect this.
