Metallica Master Of Puppets Double Vinyl MFN 60 DM Very Rare. From my personal collection. Condition is Used but in excellent shape, both on the sleeve and vinyl. Master of Puppets was released in 1986 on a single vinyl album. Unfortunately, due to the running length pushing the limits of sound a two-sided vinyl record could hold, the sound quality wasn’t great. Many reviews in the music press mentioned this fact. To counter this, MFN released a double vinyl edition in 1987, which had two tracks per side. This allowed better sound quality from the grooves, as they were no longer all compacted together. I have owned this album from new and I bought it at the legendary Shades record store, in St Anne’s Court, London. It has been in my personal collection for 33 years and was only played a few times, hence the superb overall condition. The album comes complete with the merchandise insert and, the rare fold-out poster which is mint! There are only a few, tiny marks to the spine of the sleeve (see pics) and overall is in amazing condition. I’ve tried to represent this as best as I can in the photos. This truly is a very sought after piece of heavy metal history, waiting to be enjoyed by a new owner.
