Description
Here is an original pressing of the album Kill ‘Em All by Metallica from 1983 on Megaforce Records. It is marked MRI 069. The cover is in its original shrink. On the cover itself is a sticker from Tower Records and also another sticker from CD Trader. The album will be shipped in yet another sleeve, which has some tape on it. Rest assured, the tape is not on the original shrink or the cover itself. The shrink wrap has the smallest of tears in a couple of the corners, but is overall in very nice shape. So is the cover. Other than the stickers, and slight rounding of the corners, it’s in fantastic shape.
I’ve seen conflicting information as to whether this is the absolute first pressing or not. I advise you to do your research and make your own judgment. As I understand it, the original pressing was shipped with an unprinted inner sleeve, such as this one. This label does not feature the big 1 and 2 on each side of the label.
The vinyl is in great shape. It features only the slightest of superficial markings, and plays great. The A side is stamped B- > MRI 069A, and the B side is stamped B- > MRI 069B.
