Description
Metallica & Megadeth fans! This is the album you've heard about but thought you'd NEVER see! Prior to Metallica's "official" beginnings, they had a slightly different line-up... as you can see on the album cover. From left to right: Dave Mustane (from Megadeth, of course!), Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield and Ron McGovney (owner of the famous Garage and the crusty bass).
This album features 8 (count 'em...eight) different rarities from 1982 and one stunning performance of Creeping Death from new bassist Cliff Burton in 1983 (unfortunatly, Mustane had been kicked out of the band by then...wouldn't THAT have been something to hear!). This is a historical glimpse into the early days of the L.A. Metal scene.
Released in 1986 on KERI / Fancy Records, France. MT 49 C. This album was an extremely limited release, and is now beyond rare. It is absolutely MINT and has only been played once on pro equipment to record it. The inner sleeve is original. No ring wear or damage on the cover. It will come to you sealed in an archival quality poly protective sleeve, and packed for a shuttle launch.
