This is the official 1st pressing (pink labels) in excellent, closest-to-mint condition you'll ever see. According to acting-like-a-maniac dot com, this is a limited edition of less than 750 copies of this album made.

I personally bought this in 87-88 at my local specialty/import record shop. This happened to be the Sound Exchange in Wayne, NJ. I am a Metallica fan since 1984 and in 1986 I began collecting their colored vinyl and all manner of imports; promos and anything 7". However, if it was "Black Album" related, or later, I did not purchase. At one point I had nearly 70 pieces in my collection. I sold almost everything back in 2006, except for a few studio releases and this one particular bootleg.

Condition is stunningly beautiful, bright and colorful. Displays incredibly well.

I bought this probably in 1988, as I remember seeing it in the Metallica bin for a little while. There was only one copy. After a while I decided it was now or never, believing if someone else picked it up, I'd never see it again. I was right! I've only ever seen this one, my copy, in person before.

Upon purchase, I promptly brought it home and played it only once and recorded it on tape. It hasn't been played since. No known flaws or imperfections. A visual inspection of the record reveals no issues. There are no indications on the pink labels as to which side is which, so I made a note of this on the white inner sleeve, as seen in the pictures. In the run-off area of each side of the records you will find the officail matrix which reads 87132-A; 87132-B; 87132-C; 87132-D.

The original price tag was removed from the back cover, upper left corner. I don't know about now-a-days, but back then, in the 80's, none of these records were sealed or shrink-wrapped, nothing Imported ever cam wrapped - all imports were "open package." As soon as I got this home and put on tape, it was sealed into a plastic sleeve.

Of special interest are the 86-87 tour dates on the back cover and "The Metallistory" by Xavier Russell on the inside gatefold.

This precious item will be carefully packaged and shipped in a brand new, crystal clear polypropylene resalable record cover sleeve. The kind of resalable on that won't leave a tacky residue on the cover.

There are a few dings or creases here and there, along with some scuffing as plainly viewed in the photos. No musty or old smell. Nothing warped. All my vinyl has been carefully taken care of all these years, never experiencing a wet/damp basement or hot attic.
