The sticker on the front cover shows: The Friday Morning Quarterback Album Report January 25, 1985. WQFM. Milwaukee. WI M.D. - Jerry Gavin "A while ago a certain Elektra Promoman came by with a copy of the new Metallica LP. I like many other M.D.'s around the country, was skeptical about what I was about to hear, but after I listened to 'Fade To Black' I knew Elektra had something there. Lo and behold 'Fade to Black', after about five weeks of airplay, tests in the 80's 18-30 adult and in the 90's 30-35 men. Don't let the name Metallica scare you off."
