This is a 1984 12'' single, originally a "Not For Sale/Promotional Copy" on Elektra label.  It is printed on LIME GREEN vinyl.

Side A: FADE TO BLACK (LP Version) 6:56

Side B: FADE TO BLACK (LP Version) 6:56

(Yes, it's the same on both sides) 

I was working at a record store at the time of it's release and was able to get it directly from the label representative when she visited the store.

The single is in great condition.  I don't know if I ever even played it or not as I had the album and didn't want to hurt it in any way.  I knew this was a collector's item then and there, even though the band wasn't all that big at the time.  The clear plastic sleeve is in fine condition, however the bottom of the record has just started to poke through the bottom of the sleeve a little.  The record is scratch free.

*SHIPPING INFO*

This item will be mailed in a high quality carboard mailer I purchased specifically for shipping this item.  The cost of the mailer is the only charge I attach to the actual postage.  The shipping and insurance prices shown are only for shipping within the United States only.  Due to the increase in USPS charges on 1/8/06, I am now offering buyers the choice between Priority Mail (my personal favorite), and the somewhat less expensive (but slower and less reliable) First Class Mail Parcel.  I am also offering Express Mail as an option to anyone who may need it delivered overnight.  Express Mail's delivery estimation is "Overnight to Many Areas".  Express Mail comes with free insurance, and Priority And First Class mail both have the option of insurance.  Delivery Confirmation is included with all shipping methods as I will not ship without it (Confirmation protects both the buyer and the seller).  You will get an email when it is shipped with a tracking number.  Priority Mail is usually received in 1-3 days, and First Class is estimated at 3-5 days.  First Class is the shipping option marked "Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service".  I usually ship packages out within 24 hours after payment is settled.

Shipping Discounts

I have more items up for auction.  I won't charge any additional shipping charges if you buy more than one, provided it's at the same time and I can put them in one box.  Priority Mail has a flat fee up to 1 pound, and First Class Mail Parcel postage is based on each ounce, so in the event you buy more than one item you will need to contact me first for a quote as just one additional item will change the weight and the cost.  I don't charge *additional* shipping charges for more than one item, but I will have to base the single charge on the weight of all items.  Also, First Class Mail is only available for 13 ounces or less, the First Class limit.  In the case of the package being over 13 ounces, it will need to be shipped Priority Mail.  If you buy one item and you're going to bid on another, just let me know and I'll hold off shipping until you're ready.  I will then send you one invoice for the multiple items.

I will ship worldwide to any country except for Canada, and any non-US buyer should contact me first for a shipping quote.  Please be aware that shipping time may take considerably longer outside the US, but I will ship immediately after payment is received and verified.
