*****THIS IS A VINYL RECORD ALBUM!! *****Metal Massacre Vol 1 LP 1st Pressing mispelled "METTALLICA" on back cover, third scan shows a close up of that section of the back cover, this version of their song HIT THE LIGHTS appeared only on this 1982 first pressing, the second pressing had a newer version, as well as other changes..."Note: Black 'n Blue's "Chains Around Heaven" replaced Steeler's "Cold Day in Hell", that was the first track on the original version of the compilation. The version of Metallica's "Hit the Lights" is a new recording as James Hetfield was unhappy with the original version. The second pressing features Dave Mustaine on lead guitar instead of Lloyd Grant. Ratt's "Tell the World" was omitted" On this copy, lower left hand side of corner is dented a bit, see scan, does not affect the record
