Description
Available for auction is a highly collectable, audiophile album in rare investment grade. It can be found on Harry Pearson's The Absolute Sound LP list (specifically, his "Old list of Golden Baker’s Dozen").
Featuring performance of Howard Hanson's rarely performed or recorded "Merry Mount Suite," this album also contains dialogue with the composer and demonstrations of the orchestra using selections from the composer's repertoire.
Recorded in 1958, this is a first pressing (FR1/FR1) from the Indianapolis ("I") plant of RCA Victor, well known to be among the best vinyl production facilities in America. The original edition LP has a grooved label with silver text, with matrix numbers:

Sleeve is NM with minor wear. Original inner sleeve is NM with minor wear.
Vinyl is EX+ (visual), clean and shiny, VPI machine cleaned with L'Art du Son, it is shiny and without spindle marks.
