Laminated flipback Sleeve
A really very nice, Rare original 12" vinyl release of this great Blues LP on the Collector Record label and in Excellent condition.
Vinyl is in NM condition and looks hardly played, if at all. This vinyl still carries a beautiful sheen and good lustre. The original labels are excellent. No surface marks, warps or dirt. Pristine. A very clean record, very very close too 'as new' Not bad at all, for 54 years old.
The laminated sleeve is graded Excellent. Although generally of a very flimsy nature (these sleeves often dont wear well) this one has stood the test of time very well. The laminate is excellent throughout the front and the colours are bright and strong. The spine is straight and text readable. There are no actual tears or rips, just a penned name at the top of the rear (You could clean this off but I have not attempted this), there is a small blemish midway don the front sleev by the spine. The rear of the sleeve has retained a very good whiteness and is general excellent condition. **Please note that the colour in reality is a lot 'more orange' than the colour in the photo, but I could not get a decent shot of it, the photo with the record in sleeve on top of cover is nearer the actual colour!
A genuine and collectable CLASSIC BLUES LP from the UK, 1960, in general Excellent condition.
It is not very often that I see collections that are this good and in such great condition so please check my other auctions for many more classic original UK and US Jazz and Blues records from this large and well looked after collection.
I have tried to give a clear picture of the vinyl and sleeve using description and pictures, if you require any more information please contact me with any questions that you may have.

I use the UK record collector grading guide as detailed below.
Records are visually graded unless stated as play graded
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
As well as the above grades, Near Mint is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.
