A Vancouver based branch of the Hawkwind family tree, which included among its membership Hawkwind electronics maestro Del Dettmar. The band released two albums: “Stranger In Mystery” from 1979, and this one “Migration Of The Snails” from 1980. On both albums the band’s lineup consisted of Xaliman on vocals, guitar, piano, electro-keys, gongs, percussion, and shepherds pipes, Randy Raine-Reusch on dulcimer, khaen, gongs, and flutes, Del Dettmar on EMS synth and Delatronics, George McDonald on guitar, theramin, and wall of oscillation, Mark Franklin on bass, and Paul Franklin percussion, tablas, glockenspiel, and synth organ, plus numerous guests.
The album features songs that change between beat-jazzy, fusion, thumping bass and drum beats, subtle electronics, and astral flute work. The genre considered to be a mix of electronic rock, art rock, prog rock, experimental.

Del Dettmar born 20 April 1947 in Surrey England is best known as synthesizer and keyboard player with the English space rock band Hawkwind from 1971 to 1974. Del was recruited as road manager for Hawkwind by their manager Doug Smith. While attending to his road manager duties, he also sat out front at gigs operating a synthesizer and mixing the band. He was brought into the band proper to replace a temporarily absent Dik Mik in May 1971. Del left Hawkwind in June 1974 to emigrate to the East Shore of Kootenay Lake, in B.C. Canada, where he still lives. He recorded two albums with the experimental Melodic Energy Commission in 1979 and 1980. He is an occasional contributor to the band Space Ritual.
