#1950 Numbered Edition. Extremely rare first pressing of this classic album. Near mint condition, practically new. Everything plays perfectly and looks beautiful. There are a few tiny surface scratches on the LPs but they absolutely do not affect play. Barely noticeable. Take a look at the photos; these are CLEAN LPs!

Aside from some very minor shelf wear, there is a flaw on the outer sleeve. If you hold the front cover so the light hits the left side you’ll see a legible handwriting imprint from the previous owner that takes up a decent amount of space. Take a look at the pics and you’ll see what I mean. It’s only noticeable when direct light is hitting it at that specific angle, but please, if you think this might bother you on any level DO NOT bid on this item. If you have specific questions about this flaw, or would like to know more please feel free to reach out.

Now back to the good stuff: the sound on these LPs is amazing. I much prefer it to the 2015 reissue (which I also have). This is the mix we all grew up with. The tape was newer, fresher when this was cut so it just sounds better. Tape ages like anything else (except wine). Are you in better shape now than you were 20 years ago? Lol.

Also: this Mellon Collie pressing features two additional tracks that were not on any other version of this album, ever. “Tonite Reprise” and “Infinite Sadness” — two rare gems perfectly placed in the unique sequence to really make the album more complete than it’s ever been. Amazing stuff, truly.

Overall, you are getting a near-perfect, original Mellon Collie vinyl set! Obviously, this only increases in value. Consider this an investment.

I doubt you’ll find a better copy anywhere of this extremely rare triple LP set.

This will be shipped inside bubble wrap in a large box and insured for the amount of sale. I ship USPS Priority (not Media Mail) which is quicker and better handled. Shipping fee is $30, but it’ll likely end up more and I’ll pay the difference.
