Description

Fantastic original UK copy of the 1969 album by The New Jazz Orchestra "Le Dejeuner Sur L'herbe" (Verve SVLP 9236) Stereo. The Orchestra was actually formed by Neil Ardley, and on this album many of his own compositions are performed. The line-up of musicians performing on the album reads like a "Who's Who" of the finest British jazz personnel of this era!! Dick Heckstall-Smith, Jon Hiseman, Jack Bruce, Henry Lowther etc etc. The vinyl is in absolute near-Mint condition, the sleeve is EX, with a crease on the lower right hand corner, but otherwise just fine!! How many times will you ever see this item for sale, especially in this superb condition?? I have placed a Reserve on the item, due to it's rarity, something I seldom do!!
