Up for sale Mega Rare Lp Record - Meet The Supremes (with the girls seated on stools).
It is a Canadian Pressing for Motown Record Corp 606 made by Phonodisc.
Absolutely fabulous cover -very clean with a very minor wear and a "??" printing error smudge.
Cover Condition: NM- / Very clean
Minimal wear - a couple of light dings / scratch (bottom left corner).
There seems to be a printing error smudge - there is a slight yellow streak (horizontally) through the "Supremes" (about the mid point).
It in not scratched or scuffed - more of a visual light smudge.
Not sure if that is the way all Canadian pressing are (as I have never seem another one first hand).
Vinyl looks EX+; but does not play as nice as it looks. (more like VG+).
No noticeable scratches or scuffs; but, it does have some small pinhead size spots on the surface (not as shiny).
No clicks or loud pops; it does have some crackles and light bacon frying (in the background) worst is the beginning of side one (first track).
Not sure if this being a Canadian pressing; the sound is off a bit (not made from the original Master Tapes),
There almost seems to to be some clipping in the louder vocals - maybe that is the way it was recorded (on all pressings).
This is rare in any condition - mega rare in this visual condition
One should buy this record for it's Rarity and Beautiful Visual Condition (not for it's audio quality - it is not an audiophile's dream)
