Description
First of all let me say, I started collecting albums and 45's at the age of 10 years old. I bought this record in 1964 played only a couple of times "Record is NM/VG+. But then during a party something was spilled on cover and stained it so I rate it a, VG. Not knowing the rarity of what this album has came to be. I stored it in my secondary record collection.
And now that I'm 65 years old and retired I feel it's time for me to sell some of my treasures to collectors that will cherish this very rare and documented variation of this album.Since cover is stained and missing original record sleeve I am auctioning this ultra rare west coast 1st pressing since a, NM/M unplayed version if found will go for $1750.00. So please view photos or email me for more or ask questions. E-mail: cen99095@centurytel.net and Thanks for looking.

Meet The Beatles
Capitol ST-2047 Stereo, 1/20/64
SECOND LABEL VARIATION (One "BMI")
ULTRA-RARE WEST COAST FIRST PRESSING !!
Because 80% of Capitol's albums were pressed on the East Coast,
the West Coast pressings of the first three label variations are clearly more scarce.

THE FACT THAT the FIRST LABEL VARIATION OF THIS LP WAS ONLY PRODUCED ON THE
EAST COAST (SCRANTON), THE SECOND LABEL (ONE "BMI") PRODUCED ON THE WEST COAST

FURTHERMORE, ON PAGE 19, OF BRUCE SPIZER'S GREAT CAPITOL ALBUMS BOOK,
HE STATES THE FACT THAT THE STEREO VARIATION OF THIS LABEL STYLE SHOULD EXIST,
BUT AS OF PRESS TIME, IT WAS NOT CONFIRMED.
IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED SINCE - AND HERE IS ONE OF THE VERY FEW MEGA-RARE COPIES
TO TURN UP. THIS LOS ANGELES PRESSING IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT !

On Jun-17-11 at 17:27:15 PDT, seller added the following information: The record is NM on both sides; the VG is a typo error I did't see. The cover is VG only due to stainprice rating
