THE BEATLES - 'MEET THE BEATLES'

This NEAR MINT U.S. STEREO pressing of their debut U.S. album dates from 1968.

This Columbia contract pressing was manufactured at Columbia Record's, Santa Maria plant, near San Francisco and has the black colour-band Capitol label (ST-2047) with 'A Subsidiary Of Capitol Industries' on the rims.

Matrix numbers: ST-1-2047-A11 & ST-2-2047-B12

Vinyl weight: 125g

Housed in a slick-on-posterboard cover with the number '6' in the lower right corner of the rear panel & still in its original shrink.

Complete with original plain white inner-sleeve.

A perfect pair with no spindle marks to or around either centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a few harmless inner-sleeve removal marks on side 2, are unmarked.

Sound Quality: MINT

Little, if ever played and all tracks play flawlessly.

Cover: NEAR MINT

This cover looks like it left the store yesterday, let alone 46 years ago. The shrink is tight and fully intact all-round with tiny 'breath holes' front & rear where they should be. The remains of the original store price sticker is present on the rear. The crease running vertically down the front panel is in the cellophane only and not the cover.

Both seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
