The BEATLES "Meet The Beatles" STEREO ST-2047, Promotional Copy, Still Sealed (SS) Condition.
They say a picture is worth one thousand words...but some pictures don't tell the whole story, so please read my item description & condition below as well as my terms of sale.
ITEM DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: The BEATLES first LP release in the USA on Capitol Records "Meet The Beatles" this copy release date is uncertain and, to my knowledge, cannot be determined without opening the album. Obviously this is not an early pressing from the 1960's. I assume it is most likely a late 70's or early 80's release. The condition is as follows:
1) The vinyl disc itself, ST-2047, as well as the record labels are unable to be graded as the record album is still sealed...see photos.
2) The Album Cover/Jacket itself, although still sealed, must be downgraded due to the visible imperfections and/or damage including, several breaches of the original shrink wrap as follows: a circular tear or rip on the upper middle of the back cover, a small tear on the lower right corner of the back cover. A slight bump and crease to the lower left corner of the front cover. A pronounced bump and multiple creases to the upper right corner of the front cover. Three to four circular shaped stains near the upper seam of the rear cover...see photos and judge the condition for yourself.
TERMS OF SALE:
SHIPPING: I only ship to the continental USA, I do NOT ship International. I ship all items via United States Postal Service Media Mail within 72 hours of auction end. Your shipping cost is calculated based on the item(s) weight (including package and any packing materials used) and your proximity to my location. Combined shipping may be available but, by early request only.
PACKAGING: 1) Opened record albums; The vinyl record disc itself is removed from the album cover/jacket to prevent damaging the cover during shipment. If the item includes a specialized or custom inner sleeve, the vinyl record disc is removed from the original inner sleeve and placed in a generic inner sleeve. The album cover, the vinyl record disc and any/all inserts will be placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment. 2) Unopened (sealed) record albums; Sealed items will remain unopened and are placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment.
PAYMENT: I only accept payment through PAYPAL!  Any/all payments must be completed within 72 hours of auction end unless other arrangements have been agreed to by both the purchaser and the seller. Immediate payment due if and when using the Buy-It-Now option.
RETURNS: I do NOT accept returns for any reason whatsoever.  I use my best judgment when grading items and I describe items to the best of my knowledge and ability keeping in mind that I am not a professional grader or collector.  I post fully descriptive photos when listing an item and additional photos are always available upon request. In my title and description, of this item, I indicate that this is a 'PROMOTIONAL COPY' of the record album. When I purchased this item many years ago I was told that it was a promotional copy. Other than that, my assertion is based solely on the punched hole in the upper right hand corner. Recently I have been informed that the punched hole does not necessarily mean that a record album was distributed as a promotional copy...sorry for any confusion.
