Meet The Beatles First USA Pressing in stereo. Rainbow Label ST 2047
A1 B2 Matrix.......No ASCAP or BMI credits. #3 on the back cover next to the RIAA logo.
The cover-The cover is in very good condition. There is no ringwear! Try to find a copy of this cover with no ringwear! There is an inch long hairline scratch on the right front side. There is a small indentation above George's head and inch long creases at the top and on the right. There is almost no spine wear except for few small spots on the ST-2047 and Capitol insignias in the lower left side. There is a small crinkle on the upper left corner. There is some discoloration on the white top band on the right side. This cover is in collectible condition.......amazing!!!! The inner sleeve is also in excellent condition with very little denting at the top. Brilliant blue colors. I rate the cover and sleeve at VG+.
The labels are in VG+ condition. No greasy fingerprints, light spindle marks, bright vibrant colors.
No writing on either the cover or labels.
The vinyl visually-There are three long visible scratches on Side One but there are no loud pops or skips from them. One is feelable and visable without strong light (picture #9). It is from the middle of track two to the deadwax. Another scratch goes from track two to the label but is lighter and hard to feel. They are pretty much surface only and do not produce any loud pops, clicks or skips. Never does the surface noise overpower the music and cannot be heard when the music is playing. Very Good visual rating.
Side Two is in better shape. Only numerous slight hairline marks except for one smaller squiggle scratch and a non continuous scratch that is slightly more than hairline on tacks two through four. The marks are not feelable. Never does any surface noise overpower the music.

This Boy-A few light pops in the first 30 seconds but cleans up nice..VG
It Won't be Long-A few light clicks in the first 20 seconds but cleans up nice..VG
All I've Got to Do-A couple light clicks on the lead-in but after that WOW...John's voice sounds like it is in the room with you.....VG++
All My Loving-A few light clicks in the lead-in but gets very quiet after that.....VG+
Don't Bother Me-Light crackle in the run in but after that it sounds awesome... a few light pops at minimal..... VG+
Little Child-Light crackle on the lead-in but after that it sounds amazing with the harmonica and vocals ultra lifelike...VG++
Till There Was You-Hardly any lead in noise. Paul's vocal sounds awesome as does the guitars. VG+
Hold Me Tight-A little more crackle than the other tracks but it cleans up great after that. No Pops or clicks. Guitars sound great..VG+
